Nexxus was an owner give up in 2004. The
owner no longer had time for her. Dumeril's Ground Boas come from
Madagascar and are a threatened species due to habitat destruction.
Her gray-brown color with darker patches serves as excellent
camouflage against the scattered leaf litter on the forest floor of
their native habitat. Nexxus is captive born. She's a gentle beauty
who's also a crowd pleaser and loves to be stroked and held by
people. Look closely at her milky blue eyes in the picture and
you'll see that she's getting ready to shed her old skin. |
