Michael J. Miller

Mike, Goliath, and I almost didn't make it to the clinic this day. Preparing Goliath for the short trip for his routine check-up turned out to be a fiasco that left both of us laughing hysterically. All that was missing were our red rubber noses and clown shoes.

Although Mike loved the wild cats, he had a special fondness for our arctic fox Dakota. Somehow that stoic look on Mike's face in the second picture doesn't quite go with the fox tucked under one arm. But that was Mike :-)

Mike was happy to pose for pictures for the book Ferrets for Dummies, which Kim wrote. He was certainly not left out of the acknowledgements :-)

Looking for that vein to tie off for IV placement. It's difficult for me to wrap my little hands around G's big leg!

Goliath waking up from his yearly exam and minor surgery. You took such good care of him, Mike. Thank you!

Mike enjoyed getting boxed by our Canadian lynx Sasha. Sasha was a birthday gift from Mike to Kim about 7 years ago (1998). She died of a massive heart attack at the end of 2003. Mike also bought Kim her first wallaby for Christmas one year. Mike loved all of the critters at AFA!

Mike and Kim after a long day of surgeries. Even sitting down he was still taller than she was!

Mike was easy to hug. He was a teddy bear most of the time!

Kim and Mike with the miniature horses in the living room!! They were practicing for the annual Christmas picture card!

Farewell, Friends....
