Kahlua and his 2 siblings (Bob and
Frosty) came to us from a skunk breeder in Iowa. We raised them
from kits to educate the public about skunks, but only Kahlua
took well to the fame. Domestic skunks can make wonderful pets
in the right environment, but unfortunately they're illegal in
many states, including Illinois. Don't worry! AFA has the
proper license to keep and exhibit them. Our skunks have been
descented, so they can't spray! But wild skunks can spray up to
ten feet with excellent accuracy, so you'd better watch
yourself. Kahlua helps us with our wildlife awareness and
safety education.
