How YOU Can Help!
Animal shelters, including Animals for
Awareness, spend an incredible amount of money just maintaining the
animals brought in. Many are brought in in poor condition, some
arrive without cages or any other supplies. And some of these people
just have no clue and say things like they'd like to
"donate" an animal to our organization. Animal give-ups
are not donations. It takes time, money and a lot of effort to
maintain all of them.
All shelters suffer in this way. Whether
they're a no-kill or kill shelter, the animals need you! Without
outside help, it becomes impossible to provide for the animals put
in our care. Help arrives in many ways! From volunteers cleaning
cages, to someone writing an article for the newsletter, to dropping
off supplies or money for the critters- it ALL makes a difference!!
