When BJ first got here, he was not used to being handled by people, but we soon fixed that.
He does use his litter box, and durning playtime, his house/cage stays open for him to go in and out of as he pleases, and he also gets another litter pan placed somewhere in the corner of the room. He gets fresh veggies or herbs every other day and a quarter of a piece of fruit once a week.
He needs to be adopted by someone that is willing to spend time with him, and not just keep him in a house/cage all day long. Idealy he should be let out at least once a day for playtime for at least 2 hours. He does do pretty good durning playtime, but ALL playtime is to be supervised. This is not an ideal animal for any child that does not understand the responsibility of taking care of an animal. (Most children say yes they will take care of the animal, and they do for awhile, then the parents end up doing it, and then the animal winds up back in a shelter).
BJ can be adopted out with Tymothy, they are brothers, and have been together since birth. They do not show any 'arguments' and cuddle with each other throughout the day while they sleep.
He was being a bit shy, and didn't want to show his face for the pictures.
