Bella and her mate Benjamin were rescued from a dark shed in Effingham, IL where they’d spent there life in a bare dog crate for years. When we got them, they didn’t know what toys were and they didn’t know how to play. With a detailed enrichment program, they soon learned how to be lemurs and enjoy themselves. After a few years we relocated them to a facility that specialized in lemurs and monkeys.
